We cannot take responsibility for losses or damage within the Postal System unless our customer take the option of Registered Mail. Express Post is only guaranteed for the cost of the postage and cannot be tracked. Registered Mail is not available for Express Post or International Post.
* Express Post could incur additional postage charges for bulky items.
Returns and Refunds
1 The buyer may return any items purchased from the seller for a refund or replacement under the following conditions:
(a) The buyer notifies the seller within 7 days of delivery of the shipment and the goods are returned to the seller within 14 days of delivery.
(b) Where the return contains Patterns, Charts or Pre-Packaged items the seller can only accept a chart, pattern or pre-packaged item for return or refund if this seal has not been broken or tampered, and all original components are included.
(c) The returned item was not a Thread. The Seller is unable to accept returns of any threads, unless due to a picking or shipping error. All Sales of Threads are final.
(d) The returned item is not Cut Fabric. Once Fabric us cut, all sales are final,
(e) The item was not marked as a Sale or Second item. All sales of Sale or Second Items are final.
(f) All Other Items must be unopened and in original, saleable condition.
(g) A copy of the seller's invoice is included with the return.
3 The seller will notify the buyer via e-mail, of a refund once the seller has received and processed the returned item. The buyer can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase or a replacement item within 7 to 14 business days.
4 If the return is not due to the seller's error, the seller will deduct the shipping costs and credit card fees from any refund.
5 If the buyer used a gift certificate to pay for all or part of an item returned, that part of the refund will be credited on a future purchase. Please note, the original expiration date will still apply.
6 Should the buyer return an order that was placed using a promotional certificate, the amount of that certificate will not be refunded. Any unexpired promotional funds used on the order would, however, be returned to the buyer's account for use toward future purchases.
7 Unless the buyer elects to take and pays for the Registered Mail option, then The Stitching Post is not liable to replace or refund any items lost or damaged during transport. Registered Mail is not available for Express Post or International Post.
2 The seller accepts no responsibility for any item returned that does not meet the stated conditions.
