Family Record Samplers

This chart contains three versions of a birth or family record. These samplers are a wonderful way to commemorate the birth of a child or to record your family history. Detailed stitching directions for all three samplers are included.

The one-child version was stitched on 36-count Light Examplar, and the other two versions were stitched 36-count Maritime White from Lakeside Linens and Designs, Inc. using silk threads from Crescent Colours, Gloriana Threads, and Needlepoint, Inc. DMC substitutions are listed in the directions.

Stitch Count: 154 wide x 147 high
Stitched area size on 36-count linen: 8-1/2 inches wide x 8-1/8 inches

Stitches Used: cross, cross stitch over one linen thread, cushion, smyrna cross, and star stitches. Stitch diagrams are provided.
